Verified staff — reviewed by you before they reach your doorstep
You should know who you are considering before you meet them in person. Every shortlisted candidate clears a five-layer screening; we then send you their profile and resume, arrange a virtual interaction, and only move ahead once you are comfortable.
- Layer 1
Aadhaar & identity
We verify the candidate’s identity and required identification documents, and check that what they have told us is consistent with what they have submitted.
- Layer 2
Police & background
Where applicable, we run police or background verification to surface relevant records before a placement is made.
- Layer 3
Three interview rounds
Every shortlisted candidate sits multiple interview rounds with our team before their profile is ever sent to you.
- Layer 4
Previous work review
We review earlier roles, the responsibilities they carried and references where they are available, to judge whether the experience fits the role.
- Layer 5
Basic medical fitness
Where it is relevant to the role, we may request appropriate medical fitness information to help assess suitability for the work.
What the interview rounds assess
Three rounds is only worth saying if the rounds are looking for something. Each one is run by our team against the role you have described, not against a generic script.
- Communication and behaviour
- Work experience
- Attitude and reliability
- Role-specific skills
- Understanding of the responsibilities
You review the candidate before they reach you
We don’t simply send a staff member to your doorstep and call that an introduction. Five steps sit between a shortlist and a placement, and two of them are yours.
- 01
We screen
Our team sources, verifies and interviews candidates against the requirement you gave us — the role, the hours, the location and your preferences.
- 02
We share the resume
You receive the shortlisted candidate’s profile and resume, and you read it in your own time rather than on a doorstep.
- 03
Virtual interaction
We arrange a virtual meeting between you and the candidate so you can ask questions, talk through the work and clear your doubts before committing to anything.
- 04
Your approval
Nothing moves forward until you are comfortable. If the candidate is not right, we go back and shortlist again — that is a normal part of this, not a complaint.
- 05
Staff visit or placement
Once you have approved, we coordinate with the candidate and arrange the next step — a visit or the placement itself — according to your requirement.
You decide. We handle the process.
neato carries the sourcing, screening, interviews, verification and coordination — the parts that cost a family weeks of phone calls. What we do not do is decide for you. You read the resume, you speak to the candidate, and you say yes or no.
- Sourcing candidates for your requirement
- Identity, document and background checks
- Three rounds of personal interviews
- Sharing the profile and resume with you
- Setting up the virtual interaction
- Coordinating the visit or placement
Screening and approval, plainly
What families and businesses ask before the first meeting.
Can I interview the staff member before hiring?
Yes. Every shortlisted candidate is offered to you as a profile and resume first, and we then arrange a virtual meeting so you can ask your own questions before deciding. The visit or placement only happens after you have approved.
Do I get to see the candidate’s resume?
Yes. The shortlisted candidate’s profile and resume are shared with you before the virtual interaction, so you can read the work history and come to the meeting with questions rather than hearing it all for the first time.
What does the five-layer screening cover?
Aadhaar and identity verification, police or background verification where applicable, three rounds of personal interviews, a review of previous work and references, and basic medical fitness information where the role calls for it.
Is police verification done for every candidate?
We run police or background verification where it is applicable and available for the candidate’s district. Coverage genuinely varies across states and districts in India, which is why we say “where applicable” rather than promising it on every placement.
What if I am not comfortable with the candidate after the virtual meeting?
Then we do not proceed with that candidate. Tell our team what did not fit and we shortlist again. You are not committed to anyone by having met them.
Is a medical check part of the process?
Only where it is relevant to the role. For roles where fitness matters to the work, we may request appropriate medical fitness information to help assess whether the candidate is suitable.
Start with a requirement, not a doorstep visit
Tell us the role, the hours and your preferences. Our team comes back with screened profiles you can read — and a virtual meeting before anybody travels anywhere.
